Supporting the Civic Arts Education ceramic studio located in Walnut Creek, California.
This site is offered as a guide to our studio and community. We are considered one of the oldest and best-equipped ceramic studios in the Bay Area.
The main goal of this studio is to offer an educational setting where participants can learn and share basic skills in ceramics.
Beginning, intermediate and advanced students all participate in this studio, where the emphasis is on developing skills and not production ceramics.
Studio equipment includes electric wheels, kick wheels, brand new cone 10 reduction kilns, electric kilns for low fire, raku kiln, salt kiln, slab roller, extruder, fully equipped damp and glaze rooms, and large work areas.
Walnut Creek Clay Arts Guild is open to all students enrolled in classes.
Guild members are able to work in the studio during Open Studio time.
