Pots to Die For with Corinne Abbott will begin with an informative historical and cultural overview of the art of cremation urns followed by the difficult though important task of learning how to clarify, focus and edit visual information and personal aesthetics.

Demonstrations include numerous techniques leading to a closed form although the emphasis will be on how to communicate through clay one's inner aesthetic and conceptual intent. Bonus ash glaze recipes and surface consideration included.

A two day workshop is being offered by Civic Arts Education, September 8th & 9th from 10 AM to 5 PM each day.
